Billing & Plans

PicaDeck offers four plans to match your team's needs:

Paid plans use per-seat pricing, meaning you pay for each team member in your organization. A "seat" represents one active member in your organization.

Annual billing offers a 20% discount compared to monthly billing:

To upgrade your organization's plan:

1. Go to Billing in the dashboard sidebar
2. Click Upgrade on the plan you want
3. A checkout overlay will appear where you can enter your payment details
4. After payment, your plan is active immediately and all features unlock

Payment is processed securely through Paddle, which handles tax collection, compliance, and payment methods.

Seat counts adjust automatically as you add or remove team members:

• Adding a member — if the new member exceeds your current seat count, your subscription is automatically increased. You are billed the prorated amount immediately for the remainder of the current billing period
• Removing a member — your seat count is reduced to the greater of your active member count or the plan's minimum seats. The credit is applied to your next billing period

You can also manually adjust your seat count from the Billing page if you want to pre-purchase seats before inviting members.

View your invoice history from the Billing page in the dashboard. Each invoice shows:

• Invoice date and billing period
• Plan name and seat count at time of billing
• Amount charged
• Payment status

For detailed invoices and payment management, click Manage Billing to access your customer portal where you can download PDF invoices and update payment methods.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page. When you cancel:

• Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period
• After the period ends, your organization reverts to the free plan
• All your data (projects, schemas, commits) is preserved — nothing is deleted
• Git features (branches, commits, PRs) become read-only on the free plan
• If you have more than 3 projects, existing projects remain accessible but you cannot create new ones until you are under the limit

The free plan is designed for individuals and small teams getting started. It includes:

• Up to 3 projects
• Up to 3 team members (included seats)
• Auto-save mode only (no git version control)
• Up to 100 commits per month
• Up to 999 branches per project
• Full schema editor with all visual features
• All migration export formats (SQL, Prisma, MongoDB)
